Registration of a foreign vehicle

The service includes:
– The list of documents you will need to get an ITV appointment;
– The appointment at the DGT under your name;
– Calculation of the value of the vehicle;
– Calculation and presentation of the IVTM (Tax on Vehicles with Mechanical Traction), which is based on the CO2 emissions of the vehicle and varies depending on the municipality.
– Calculation and presentation of the transport tax (Impuesto Especial sobre Determinados Medios de Transporte, Special Tax on Certains Means of Transportation). It can range up to 15% of the net value of the vehicle.
– The appointment for the padrón and the electronic certificate if necessary;
– The preparation of all the documents of the file;

Excluded:
– The amounts to be paid to the DGT (€98,00), for the IVTM and for the transport tax, as well as the price of manufacture and installation of the new plates.

No tax will be submitted without your approval.

Timeframe: between 2 and 6 weeks.

Important: The person will need to go alone to the DGT.
