Did you recently arrive in Spain and the only thing you are thinking about is how to get your TIE rapidly?<\/span><\/p>\n

We\u2019ve got you covered! <\/span><\/p>\n

  1. The first step of this tedious process is to get your <\/span>empadronamiento<\/a><\/strong>. This document is issued by the city hall and is used as a proof of address.
    <\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Once your empadronamiento<\/a><\/strong> secured, you will need to book an appointment at the police station of your choice and choose the option \u201c<\/strong><\/span>Toma de Huellas<\/a><\/strong>\u201d.<\/strong>\n

    You will need to go to this appointment with a list of documents varying depending on the police station picked. The most frequently requested documents<\/a><\/strong> being your empadronamiento (of less than 3 months), your original passport and a full copy of it (yes even the blank pages), the EX17 form, the 790012 tax form and the proof of payment of the tax and a passport picture. <\/span><\/p>\n

    During the appointment, the police will hand you a \u201cResguardo\u201d which is a document proving that you went to your TIE appointment. This document contains the batch number of your TIE (\u201cnumero de lote\u201d) and will tell you when to collect your TIE.<\/p>\n<\/span><\/li>\n

  3. Thanks to the kindness of some people, there is a website on which you can track the process of your TIE card in Barcelona. You can consult it here: https:\/\/www.lotenie.com\/<\/span><\/a>\n<\/li>\n
  4. Once your TIE is ready, you will have to book an appointment<\/span><\/a> according to the instructions on the resguardo document and go there with your passport to collect your card. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
